Each year, Sudan Relief Fund provides nearly all of the medicine for Dr. Tom Catena to treat patients at the Mother of Mercy Hospital, in the remote Nuba Mountains of Sudan. Dr. Tom Catena is the only surgeon for a population of over half a million people, and his commitment is no less than heroic. Your gift will provide a box of medicine that will help save the lives of Nubian people who come by the thousands to seek medical care from Dr. Tom.
No one should die from a curable illness, treatable injury, or unsupervised childbirth. But this tragedy occurs so often in South Sudan where people lack access to basic healthcare.
